As part of St Augustine’s CAFOD Live Simply Award journey, we were delighted to host an “Awe & Wonder” Photography Competition for pupils, staff, parents and parishioners. The response was truly wonderful, with enthusiastic participation from all age groups across our school and parish community. Each entrant captured an image reflecting the beauty of God’s creation and thoughtfully chose a scripture quote from the Bible to accompany their photograph. The result was a moving celebration of faith, creativity and gratitude for the natural world.

Our dedicated Faith & RE Ambassadors carefully reviewed all entries and selected 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in both the children’s and adult categories. The overall winners were presented with a bug hotel and a set of gardening tools, encouraging them to continue exploring and caring for God’s creation. All photographs were proudly displayed in school for pupils and families to enjoy, before being shared in church so that the wider parish community could also celebrate the awe and wonder of God’s world together.
